Welcome to E.V. Cain Middle School. At our school, we stand together to place each child at the heart of every decision. All students will be challenged, engaged, and obtain college and career readiness skills for a globally connected society.
We will be delaying the start of the school year in order for our teachers to attend The Distance Learning Playbook training. The first day of school for the 2020-2021 school year will be Monday, August 17, 2020. Please see the attached revised calendar. The school year will still end on Friday, June 4th. School will be in session 9/8, 1/15, and 4/15.

Welcome to E.V. Cain, home of the Wildcats! It is my honor and privilege to serve as the principal of E.V. Cain Middle School. We are a 6th-8th Grade STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) school focused on providing an academically rigorous and engaging learning environment in a supportive school environment. All students receive a STEM-based instructional program through classroom lessons and projects as well as through a variety of enrichment opportunities. Students have wide access to technology which is integrated throughout their educational program. While STEM is the foundation of our program, a variety of programs including Specialized ELD and GATE/Rapid Learner opportunities further promote our commitment to preparing our students for college and career readiness.
E.V. Cain is a school with an honored tradition, where strong connections are made between the home and the school. We value our parent and community partnerships and we encourage our extended school community to get involved on our campus. I strive to work in collaboration with each of you to promote programs that support the whole child. I feel truly fortunate to be a member of such an amazing school community! GO WILDCATS!
